Recently, Daniel Gertson '03 of KABB in San Antonio gave us some good, specific advice for students wanting to jump into broadcast journalism, which included finding a small(er) station and jumping right in. And whether or not you are planning a career specifically in broadcasting, these days some TV and video experience on the resume can be a good thing no matter what. So it's good to see lots of job and internship openings around the state.
Here's a list of, well, pretty much every TV station in Texas that I could find, with their job and internship links where I could find those. (Send more if you got 'em!) They are ranked in order of market size, which can help you get a feel for the viewing areas. They are NOT, however, ranked by their ratings within the individual markets. (I couldn't find that info for free :)
