CNN's Roland Martin says he considered himself a multimedia journalist before it was a widely known concept.The 1991 Texas A&M University journalism graduate began working in television, radio and newspapers while at Jack Yates High School-Magnet School of Communications in Houston. From the start, he said, his goal was to learn multiple facets of the craft.
Over the past two decades, he's done just that.
His peers have taken note of his success and are scheduled to induct him into the A&M Former Journalism Students Association's Hall of Honor on Saturday.
